I'm Simon. 

I live in the beautiful Scottish Borders. I grew up in Tweeddale and went to school here.

I graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2011 with an MA (Hons) in French and German. I spent a year living and working in France, teaching English and working in the tourism sector.

My career since graduation has centred around campaigns, communications, policy and public affairs.

I've long been passionate about languages and that's where the idea for languageladdie.scot was born.
